Prompt, adequate and effective: the Paris Arbitration Rules as the new "remedy" for international arbitration users

Abstract: This article provides an insight of the new ad hoc Paris Arbitration Rules revealed April 15th in Paris by the "Paris, the Home of Arbitration" organisation. Fashioned to offer international arbitration users an alternative to existing ad hoc rules, the Paris Rules are analysed in the light of the key objectives and the improvements introduced to satisfy an increasingly concerned and demanding arbitration users.
