Abstract: In 2011, with the guidance of the Spanish Arbitration Club, Spain amended its arbitration law, which was enacted in 2003 and based on the Uncitral Model Law. In this context, the present article presents the main changes brought by the amendment, emphasizing the intention of the legislator to make the country increasingly attractive for foreign investment.
